Alexander Technique

The A.T. is a simple, practical method for improving balance, poise, co-ordination, ease and freedom of movement. It is a re-education process that teaches us to become familiar with our individual habits and tension patterns, and then to consciously release the excessive tension. Through economy of effort, the Technique teaches us to put our bodies back to neutral, reducing built-up stress and tension. The process engages our inherent counter-gravity mechanisms, leaving us in a buoyant expansive state. Its' genius is in its' simplicity! Once embodied The Alexander Technique can be applied independently, anywhere and at anytime.
