Maternity Massage

At this special time in your life it is especially important that you take care of yourself and your baby.

Maternity massage is a therapeutic workout which loosens the muscles and joints, eases aches and pains, relieves fatigue, and, in aiding the body, also benefits the mind and spirit. Maternity massage is targeted to the unique needs of mothers-to-be.

Essential oils enormously enhance the effects of massage. I use individually selected blends of essential oils, which are entirely safe and very beneficial for mother and baby. From the third month of pregnancy the mother can opt for very light abdominal massage with a blend of oils to reduce stretch marks.

At the end of the session you are left feeling restored and relaxed.

Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage is an ancient art that has been around for thousands of years and is part of the Ayurvedic healing system. During this treatment the upper arms, shoulders, neck, head and face are worked on to stimulate relaxation and relief. A flowing sequence of percussion and pressure points are incorporated into the treatment to help ease tension and calm the mind. It is an ideal treatment for stress, headaches including migraine, eyestrain, insomnia and sinusitis.
