Ayurvedic Kansa Vatki Foot Massage (CMA approved)
With Mary Dalgleish Friday 17th February 2012 (10am - 6pm) Cost: €175 (includes a Kansa Vatki 3-metal bowl which is used in the treatment + course manual)
The Kansa Vatki (KV) Ayurvedic Foot Massage™ with marma therapy (Indian acupressure) is a beautiful and relaxing health-care modality, which balances the body, mind and spirit through working on the feet and legs. This unique treatment, steeped in centuries of ceremony, involves the use of ghee (clarified butter) and oils. The massage is deeply revitalizing for tired feet and legs and, as the feet contain key energy and nerve endings relating to internal organs, a Kansa Vatki treatment also helps to rebalance the doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha energies). You will discover your Ayurvedic dosha and will give and receive two full treatments on the day. On completion you will receive a CMA approved Certificate. With Mary Dalgleish (author of "Ear Candling in Essence")
Sunday 19th February 2012 (10am - 6pm) Cost: €160 (includes ear candles for use on the day and course manual)
This one day course offers therapists an opportunity to add a simple but fascinating therapy to their range of treatments. Ear Candling which has gained popularity in recent years as we seek natural forms of healthcare, is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that is easy to perform and beneficial to receive. It is soothing and helpful for conditions experienced by many of us - such as headaches, compacted ear wax, sinus problems, tinnitus, pressure problems and much more. It is also a very relaxing therapy in its own right and may be found helpful with the treatment of stress. After the course, you will be able to offer your clients an ear candling treatment combined with a specialised massage of the face, ears, neck and scalp. Topics covered include the history of ear candling, contraindications and benefits, common ear, nose & throat disorders, anatomy & physiology of the ears, nose and throat as well as practical sessions. You will give and receive a full treatment on the day and receive a CThA & CMA approved Certificate. For an application form & further details contact:

From the beginning of time, sacred movement, song and story have brought people together - at times of seasonal ceremony and celebration, as part of everyday life and life passages, in daily renewal and meditation.
-
We dance to experience and express the beauty of our hearts through song, music, chant and movement.
-
We move to harmonize our bodies, voices and thoughts as a chorus of Universal Peace.
-
We open ourselves to feelings that flow as a result of being in a circle that expresses the rhythm of Sacred Unity.
-
We join the circle to be mindful of our home in the melody of Breath, Heart Beat and Earth.
These simple, joyous, meditative, multi-cultural circle dances set to the sacred phrases, chants, music and movements of the world's spiritual traditions promote peace and integration within individuals and understanding and connection within groups worldwide.
No prior experience necessary – just an openness
to dance, sing, and play.
Aura Soma
AN INTRODUCTION
with Sheila Doody
The Aura-Soma Colour Care System is designed to restore our sense of well-being and support us in opening to our fullest potential.
The equilibrium Bottles are at the heart of the Aura-Soma system. These bottles contain the living energies of herbs, plants, essential oils together with the energies of gemstones and crystals. Colour is the key linking the healing power of these ingredients. Aura-Soma is a self-selective Soul Therapy and through our choice of colours we allow ourselves to recognise our hidden potential, our inner beauty and our present needs. When the appropriate coloured oil is applied to the skin the healing vibrations are carried through the body helping to restore, revitalise and rebalance.
A Gift to Yourself
This introductory afternoon offers both a relaxing and an informative space for those seeking an understanding of the Aura-Soma system. Special emphasis is given to exploring your personal choice of colours. Time is also offered to experience the nurturing qualities of these beautiful oils.
