About the Event
"Look to this day, for yesterday is but a dream and tomorrow is only a vision. But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well therefore to this day"
Silence is a space where something new happens. As we give ourselves permission to be quiet and to sit in silence, we unravel, release and let go, offering the possibility of clarity, calm, creativity and equanimity. When we give ourselves permission to step out and unplug for a short while, we replenish ourselves and find we again have the energy to fill the cups of others.
Join me for an evening of creating space.
We shall begin with a short meditation to assess where we currently are, gather our energy and ground ourselves. After this we move into Pranayama practice (Breathing exercises) to open the lungs and allow the nervous system to return to a balanced state. We will then practice a few simple meditations to promote a sense of compassion, joy, and appreciation. What we practice becomes stronger. Focusing on love and compassion flourishes more of that in our lives. The evening will end with a Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) to heal, restore and deeply relax.
Dani has been Yoga and Meditation since 2002 and is qualified at the E-RYT 500hr level with over 3500 hours teaching experience. She completed her initial training in NYC but is continuously upskilling and has a variety of diplomas from Children’s Yoga to Yoga Nidra training with Donna Fahri. She has taught in NYC, Spain, Cork and Dublin and has held many retreats through-out Ireland. She teaches in schools, worked with teens, delivered workplace wellbeing courses and even taught the Irish Ladies Rugby.
Dani’s believe is that we have the greatest freedom possible, the freedom to choose how we will live our lives. We cannot change all that happens but we can learn to respond.
