About the Event
In a supportive and nurturing environment this class will help reduce the aches and pains that can accompany pregnancy while helping to tone and prepare the body and mind for birth. Through gentle yoga poses and breathing techniques, you will cultivate health and calmness for both mother and Baby.
Aoife is a 500 hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher. She has been teaching and practising yoga for over 10 years. A mother of three, she discovered the power of yoga during her first pregnancy and birth. In 2007/8 she completed her Pre & Post Natal Teacher Training under the guidance of Melissa Curtis and Lisa Wilkinson. In the same year she completed her 250 hour Yoga Foundation Teacher Training with Veronica Larson, Debbie Corradinho, Marianne Jacuzzi and Anthony Sharkey.
Aoife is passionate about yoga for pregnancy and birth preparation. She loves to pass on her knowledge and experience to empower the mothers in her classes. As her children grew so did her interest in Kids yoga, in 2011 she completed the Rainbow Kids Teacher Training and in 2013 the elbowroom Children's Yoga Teacher Training.
