It is a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and surrounding environment through a gentle, compassionate lens.
Mindfulness offers us the space to pause, breathe and find inner stillness amongst our busy lives. It is the practice of slowing down and paying attention – so that we don’t miss our lives precious moments and can equally learn to deal more effectively with times that may be stressful.
The course includes
Initial orientation to determine course suitability
Eight 2.5 hour Mindfulness Meditation classes
Additional full day of Mindfulness on a Sunday
CDs/Audio links + Workbook to support your practice
Mindfulness helps us to become present with whatever is going on both inside and externally, and thus creates the space to make wiser decisions about how to proceed. It creates a space where we can explore being a little kinder with ourselves, whatever may be arising in our lives.

Ann Margaret specialises in Mindfulness Based Interventions and Acceptance & Commitment Training - a positive psychology methodology that helps people gain more presence and discover the importance of their everyday lives, freeing them from unhelpful patterns which may have caused them to feel stuck in the past.
Ann Margaret successfully facilitates Mindfulness Based Stressed Reduction courses within a group setting on a regular basis at Tree of Life. The areas in which she is highly skilled in span across a variety of settings including clinical, organisational, educational, community and private sessions. With a background in Human Relations and Training Education, Ann Margaret has a keen interest in using her myriad of skills to reduce stress and anxiety in corporate environments, resulting in higher creativity, innovation and productivity within the workplace.
